Cape boys’ lacrosse bops the Bucs 21-7

Vikings face three tough games over five days

The Cape boys’ lacrosse team won at Milford April 24 21-7 to improve to 7-2 on the season.

The Vikings have three big challenges coming over a five-day period, beginning at 4 p.m., Friday, April 26, when they travel to once-beaten Smyrna. Then they will travel to Broadneck for a 12 p.m. game Saturday, April 27. They will hit the road again Tuesday, April 30 for a 4 p.m. game at 7-0  Wilmington Friends.

Point producers for Cape were Mike Guengther (six goals, five assists), Anderson Smith (three goals, two assists), Jack Schell (three goals, two assists), Brenner Short (three goals), Burke Healy (two goals, one assist), Ryan Morgan (two goals), Brady Mauro (one goal) and Hank Anderson (one goal). Evan Burris had two assists.

Milford goals were scored by Landon Hudson with three, and Ty Mackert and Chase Reisinger with two apiece. Josh Masten had two assists.
