Lewes Garden Tour and market set June 15

The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau announced its 33rd annual Lewes Garden Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 15, featuring seven private gardens.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at LewesChamber.com and picked up at the chamber’s visitor center after Sunday, May 26. Cost is $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the tour. The tour program will include a description of each site. 

Gardens are selected by the event committee’s co-chairs with assistance from other members. This year’s committee members are Co-Chairs Pam Rankin and Carolyn Marshall, Volunteer Coordinator Terry Yates, and Susan Crawford, who writes the garden descriptions for the tour program.

Vendors will offer garden-related items from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the garden market in Zwaanendael Park. The Pretzelvania food truck will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Kings Highway adjacent to Zwaanendael Park.

Tickets will be available to purchase in person Friday, May 24, at the chamber visitor center in the historic Fisher-Martin House near the Zwaanendael Museum. Visitor center hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Starting Saturday, May 27, the visitor center will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sundays, through Oct. 1.

Ticket payment options include cash, credit cards and checks made out to the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
