Betty G. Smith, loved by many

Betty G. Smith, 93, of Millsboro, formerly of Lehighton, Pa., went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the comfort of her own home.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles H. Smith, in 2014. Betty is survived by her six children, Lisa Janvier (Melvin), Scott Smith (Ann), Bruce Smith (Jill), Darlene Lonergan, Melody Nichols and Paula Tucker (Donie); 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
